چکیده

This study presents information about crystal imperfections in the main phase of industrial vanadium phosphorous oxide catalysts that are used to catalyze oxidation n-butane maleic anhydride, being an important intermediate chemical industry. The mechanism this reaction is still debated, and catalytically active selective surface centers have not yet been identified. results presented based on X-ray diffraction data obtained by both laboratory-scale synchrotron powder experiments, as well single-crystal experiments. It has proven pronounced Bragg reflection broadening effects found patterns VPO real due insufficient 2-? resolution apparatus. In framework work, a full profile fitting strategy was developed using TOPAS software, which applied analyze four differently activated catalyst samples, originating from one batch after they had tested. mainly caused anisotropic size, platelet-shaped crystallites vanadyl pyrophosphate. Catalytic Oxidation of 4-Methylpyridine on Modified Vanadium Oxide Catalysts

The reaction of gas-phase oxidation of 4-methylpyridine on individual V2O5, binary and ternary vanadium-oxide catalysts was studied. These catalysts were modified by additives of SnO2 and TiO2. It was found that modifying V2O5 leads to increase the activity of binary contacts. Upon transition from binary V2O5<...

Catalysis science of supported vanadium oxide catalysts.

Supported vanadium oxide catalysts contain a vanadium oxide phase deposited on a high surface area oxide support (e.g., Al2O3, SiO2, TiO2, etc.) and have found extensive applications as oxidation catalysts in the chemical, petroleum and environmental industries. This review of supported vanadium oxide catalysts focuses on the fundamental aspects of this novel class of catalytic materials (molec...

Synthesis and Characterization of Ni-Doped Vanadium Phosphorus Oxide Catalysts

The effect of Ni doping (1%, 2%, and 5%) on vanadium phosphate catalysts prepared via VOPO4·2H2O was described and discussed. At low levels, the Ni dopant significantly enhanced the amount of the active lattice oxygen species O− and lowered the reduction peak temperature corresponding to the reduction of V5+ and V4+ phases. A combination of powder X-ray diffraction, temperature-programmed reduc...

Hydrogenation of carbon monoxide over vanadium oxide- promoted rhodium catalysts

The effect of vanadium oxide as support and promoter on supported rhodium catalysts on the CO hydrogenation has been investigated at 0.15 and 4.0 MPa. Rh/V,O, reduced at 723 K has a good selectivity toward oxygenated products, especially C,-oxygenates, but has a low activity added as a promoter to catalysts consisting and stability. Vanadium oxide of rhodium supported on silica and alumina show...
